In April 2026,, District Bangle was honored as one of the winners at Arlington PitchFest — a huge moment for a brand that started with one simple question:
Why are bracelets still so difficult to wear?
During my pitch, I talked about the problem almost every jewelry wearer has experienced:
Bracelets that are too tight, too loose, hard to clasp, uncomfortable, or impossible to put on without help.
And then something unexpected happened during the judges’ questions.
One of the judges mentioned that she has very small wrists — exactly the kind of customer I designed District Bangle for.
So I asked the room:
“How many of you have ever needed help putting a bracelet on?”
Hands went up.
That moment perfectly captured why District Bangle exists.
Our luxury stretch bangles were designed to bridge beauty and usability:
No clasp. No sizing stress. One comfortable fit that actually works in real life.
The judges connected immediately with the idea because it wasn’t just about fashion — it was about solving a real, everyday frustration that millions of women experience.
As someone who has spent years balancing a demanding federal career, motherhood, and entrepreneurship, I knew I wanted to create jewelry that felt elevated but effortless. Something beautiful enough for an event, yet easy enough for everyday life.
Being recognized at Arlington PitchFest was incredibly meaningful because the judges saw the bigger vision:
Jewelry can be stylish, luxurious, and wearable at the same time.
I’m so grateful to Arlington Economic Development, the PitchFest team, and the judges for supporting local businesses and innovative ideas.
And this is only the beginning for District Bangle.
